I’ve said it before – I need a new desk. To be more accurate: I need a bigger one. My current desk is actually a breakfast-in-bed table that you can roll over your bed to have breakfast in bed (seems logical, right?) and is really, really long but slim. As I am a true collector of anything beautiful that comes across my way (magazines, books, decoration items, candles, boxes, tablets and more) my flat starts to look like a smorgasbord of things aka it’s filled to overflowing.
So this could be called my second resolution for 2015: A bigger and wider desk to make my work space look clearer. I have a really beautiful idea in mind, but I need my dad to implement this as it’s a a little bit more complicated DIY project and as I don’t want another Ikea furniture piece in my room. I’ll keep you updated about this!
Most of the items you see on the photos, from left to right: white tulips, concrete letter ‘&’ by Sigurd Larsen, the most beautiful, handmade in Kyrgyzstan Macbook case by Kancha Design, Woo! by Juergen Teller photo book, current 032c issue, Eames chair, pillow by Ikea, old selfservice magazines – for more interior and design articles check EastDanes home & gifts section!
