STATION TO STATION: A PUBLIC ART PROJECT BY LEVI’S®

COOPERATION, LEVIS

While our sort has to become accustomed with winter jackets and boots these days, über-blogger Jakob (DANDY DIARY) and singer Tobias (BONAPARTE) are lucky enough to escape from this happening for three more weeks. They are on a train ride from the US east coast to the west coast, stopping by different cities for live-events.
Reason here for is the latest project of heart by artist and curator Doug Aitken called ‘STATION TO STATION‘, which brings together musicians, other artists and cultural icons with different communities to create interventions and events.
Supporter of this creative project is LEVI’S® – founded 140 years ago, always endorsing pioneers with clothing they need to change the world. The best thing about it: The earnings (ticket sells and donations) go to extraordinary development programs of partners institutions (MoMA PS1, LACMA, SFMOMA and co.)!

The two VICE talents Jakob and Tobias really seem to enjoy their time on the STS train, saying they never expected the artists to be that open-minded and funny.
For all the news about their travel check out the Facebook page here, explore Twitter under the hashtags #makeourmark #stntostn and see the video on Youtube!

Pictures of the train, tour and events provided by VICE. This post came into being in cooperation with VICE and LEVI’S® and is payed content.
