I just wanted to do a post about my favourite designers-duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. They are the creative heads of their own fashionlabel called Proenza Schouler. Born and grown up in New York, they first met each other in the year 1999 on the Parsons School of Design. Lazaro used to intern at Michal Kors, Jack at Marc Jacobs. Their graduation-collection had been produced and disposed in some departement stores in NYC.
Anna Wintour (Vogue USA) supported Jack and Lazaro, whereby the duo won the Vogue Fashion Fund, got a fellowship and realized their first real collection in 2004. They became print medias darlings and were said to be geniuses. Proenza Schouler is advocate on every New York Fashion Week and won a number of international prices.
Proenza Schoulers style is easygoing but luxurious, minimalistic and prefential held in dark colors like brown, grey, green and bronze. By this time there is a ladie’s collection, bags, belts, heels, cosmetics, glasses and accesoires. Celebrities like Demi Moore or Amy Adams are wearing and loving dresses by Jack and Lazaro.

Down here you can see my favourite pieces of the present collection and the entire show on video.
