DAYTRIP BASEL // FONDATION BEYELER

ART, PRIVATE PHOTOS

Last weekend I spent the saturday in Basel, Switzerland.
I visited the “Fondation Beyeler”, a famous art collection with paintings and works by artists like Monet, Chagall, Van Gogh, Warhol, Picasso, Klee, Miró etc.
There was a special exhibition called “Wien, 1900 – Klimt, Schiele und ihre Zeit”. Vienna was one of the birhplaces of the modern art.
Mainly it was about the ornamental portaits and landscapes by Gustav Klimt and the expressive body images of Egon Schiele – and of course their legendary erotic drawings.

I didn’t shoot that many pictures – just three of the parc of the fondation, of Basel City and the sundown. I hope you like them. Post comments and become follower.
